With a heavy heart we have decided to put our dog, Mila, up for adoption. She has spent the last 5 ½ years of her 6 year life with us, so this is no easy decision. She’s part of our family and it’s not going to be easy to see her go.
Recently, Mila has been acting aggressively toward our 2 year-old daughter. To protect our little ones, we need to find her a home that fits her better.
6 years old
Black lab mix
Alpha dog–does not play well with other dogs
Loves to play, go for walks, plays chase and tug of war
Great guard dog–she only barks when necessary (goodness, we couldn’t handle a barker)
She’s great with property boundaries–when letting her out to go potty, she stays in the yard without a leash or runner and sits by the door until we let her back in.
She loves to cuddle
She’s compassionate when you’re hurting
Gone though obedience training
Tricks she knows: sit, shake, leave it, stay, lay down, come
In great health–we take her for check-ups twice a year
If interested, we will give you her dog crate and all other accessories (leash, food dishes, treats, bones, etc.)
