Dodd Road is not the most likely place for us to call “Home.” It’s a old, old house with less than a 1000 square feet, a sand driveway, a hatch basement, and no insulation or central air. Cute though, huh? We live next to meth users and/or dealers and vacant properties. A drive down the street reveals that our neighbors have an affinity for alcohol. We bought this house in June of 2006…just before the housing market crashed, and we have watched our home depreciate in value month after month. Heck, if given the opportunity we would choose to move. Nonetheless, God has us living here…and developing a great love for this neighborhood. The steps of a man are established by the LORD, when he delights in his way. -Psalm 37:23. Dodd Road is where we call home.
We invite you to share in our life as we make a home for ourselves on Dodd Road.
